Comparo: Tiburon vs. House
The result: House wounded, but victorious.
This accident occured in a town about 40 miles east of me, where some friends of mine live: Avon Lake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. A kid got a new Tiburon from his parents, climbed in with three buddies, and only exited once again we he was thrown from the car as it struck a garage going well over 90 miles an hour. The driver was killed on impact, another was pronounced dead after it took over twelve hours to locate his body (he landed in between some nearby rocks), and the two other passengers survived and are in stable condition, but sustained heavy injuries. One is in a full body cast, the other broke every bone in his face.
Everyone please be careful out there. Don't push your car more than you can safely handle. I have little doubt these kids were being irresponsible, but no one really considers themselves that as its happening, do they?

Cripes! +1 for reasons that my kid is going to learn when it's proper to drive a car hard. I'll pay for them to go to autocrosses, just so long as they keep it to the track. If I learn about them pulling any stunts, the keys are mine.

Wow! that is so sad. Does anyone else find this odd and shocked at the part I highlighted?

sux for the home owners, and moreso to the parents of the kids.

and for drinking, to my knowledge, you can drink at whatever age you want, so long as the parent(s)/guardian(s) are present and sober. you just can't purchase any alcohol until the age of 21.

Everybody makes mistakes, clearly this guy was a retard who fucked up royally and it cost him.
Don't let a few bad apples spoil it for everyone.
Or is it because you're older now you've forgotten what it's like to be young?
