Bought a 2005 FX35 Yesturday!!!

We decided we wanted a new suv and bought a 2005 Infiniti FX35 Graphite Grey with Black leather, touring package, and sport package. I have to say so far for the 40 miles I have owned it we love it. I am very impressed with all the different equipment in the car. I did think it was wierd that the xenons are not self leveling instead you can do it manually on the dash. I wanted a navigation system but we would have had to get a black one and that is not my choice for living in Florida. I'll post some pics later but I always wake up early and the sun is not up yet.

It is funny how small the rims on my 8 look next to the 20" wheels on the new car!!!

Congrats on the purchase! Its not so good on gas, but my family loves it. Its a good thing you didn't get a navigation screen. I personally do not like our navigation system in it compared to our rx300 or rx-8. My best advice would be to go on mp3car.com and start the addiction of carputing .

I still have my 8 too. Didnt you trade yours?

Oh and let me add this. When I bought it I got a bottle of wine in a Infiniti wooden box. Sure beats the hell out of getting touch up paint in the mail a month later!

How much more were they asking for the FX45? I like the lines of those FX models but one day I was driving with my 6 year old nephew and we're alongside one on the freeway. Out of nowhere my nephew says "that car looks like a shoe".

I can take a joke, I was just rubbing it in that I still have my 8. The second remark in reguards to the wine was a jab at Mazda. It was my 3rd Mazda and I got nothing special from them.

As for pricing I leased as we use them as business write offs and we like getting new cars every 2 - 3 years.
