Bit The Bullet.

Well today was a crazy day. I traded my 00' Lincoln LS w/ 97K miles for a 04 Infiniti G35 Coupe w/ 59K miles. What you think?

I wouldn't have swapped to a G35 Coupe with 60k miles on it but good luck

Good looking car except for that stupid "Olsen" sticker above the Infiniti badge on the back. Polished rims are sharp. Might want to post some recent pics, and not the ones from 2004 when it was new.

I like G35's... just didn't like like the fact that some G35 drivers think they're driving the fastest damn car on the planet. Not as many of those clowns still around.

Beautiful car, probably the most beautiful in that price range. I didn't like the shifter or suspension though. But looks like you got auto anyways.

Looks good now SC that b!tch. Thing I like about the G35 vs 350Z, G35 back seats fold down=Golf clubs. 350Z back seats dont.

Chicken - I know 60K miles is a lot but got a great deal on it, plus with my LS about to touch a 100K, and the simple fact I had gone through 7 coils this year, replaced 2 window regulators & a almost a third, plus sun roof leaked like crazy & they paid it off, even though I was 2Gs negative, I'm not going to complain too much.

Yax- Just haven't updated the date on the camera since It reset itself.. Those pics are from Saturday 20070831.

fug- Z's are two seater's. And I'm not a fan of them really. I like the G.. I think it looks more refined.

Sweet... then I'll compliment you on how nice a shape it's in.

BTW, why would want to have an RX8 and a G35? I know theyre not exactly the same cars, but theyre in the same class. Some of the guys on RX8club have Honda S2K's or Miatas and RX8's (I can see that)... but the RX8 and G35?

I've always loved the G35 since it came out. As for why I would want one? I love the luxury, as why I had a Lincoln LS before it. The RX8 is made to go fast through the turns, the G35 is made to go fast straight in leather seats. =) ( & yes, I know there are faster cars out there & its not necessarily made to be a fast car)

I got one of those as a rental car for a few days (from the infinity dealership when i drove an beat down 1990 q45.) They're pretty nice. Repairing an infinity is a bit*h though. Parts cost a fortune.

Probably no different than a Lincoln!

i'm confused by this comment. you're saying the G and 8 are more closely related than an 8 and an S2K or miata?

Yes, I'm saying the G and 8 are in the same class, but the S2K and miata are different. I'm seeing it from a utilitarian sports car point view - four seats, usable trunk, good road car for trips... the miata and S2K can be daily drivers, but, mostly theyre toys. I know, I had a 10AE miata. It's the same reason I would put the GTO and the 8 in the same general class as well. It makes sense to me!

i definitely don't agree there. i see the 8 as a nimble car much like the miata and/or S2K. i see the G and GTO as big heavy cars with big engines to put some great straight line power.

I think your new G35 looks sweet. I have always loved the look of that car.
