I can appreciate the time and effort people put into that, but they should've built a better looking car. I hate that droopy nose on the front fascia.

Someone had WAY too much time on his hands. Too bad the back end didn't get complete - tail lights are presumably very hard to make up.

i read somewhere that it costed him about the cost of a S-class to make that.. quite significantly cheaper than the $250,000 price tag of the SLR.. but kinda expensive for just the shell :P

i don't think it would have been cheaper to buy the actual car....don't even know if it's for sale, at least not at your local dealer. besides, it's a cool project to do. if someone provided me with a million dollars + another million for materials to do something like that, i probably get as far as the wheels and tires.

that is just flat out sick...i give the team that did that mad props...i can't imagine how long it took but the results are utterly amazing
