17 Year Old and 40 year olds car.
Well I'm coming up to the time of getting my drivers license and thinking about a few cars after driving a junker for a few months. I looked at the 8 and the mustang for a while and after asking how much insurance is for me, I thought about passing up those for at least a lil bit more. I had no idea what I really woudl be cool to have and at least functional. And bam it hits me, the 300c. Ill definitley be the only 17 y/o at least around here wiht it, and I can realize the fact your car doesnt need to be fast to be 'hot'. Yea thats right straight up pimpin. Well anyways, i was thinking what do you guys think the insurance rates will be on it for me. Im looking at tourning and if the rates are low enough maybe even the c :: hemi ::drooool::. Thanks

Why do you want to drive a car that your old man probably doesn't even lust after?
I suppose if you're gonna turn it "Ghetto-fabulous", it should look okay, but at the end of the day, it doesn't really suit a 17yo.

I would think that the 8 would have cheaper insurance than the 300c. They are both considered 4 doors only the 8 has a lot less power. Maybe not though.
300c's are pretty nice, I test drove one, it drove more like a european car than american. Quality was pretty good and the power was nice to have. If I were to get one I would wait for the SRT version, rumore has it pushin over 400 hp.
I don't know that I would enjoy driving the touring model. The appeal of that car is definetly its power, take that away and other than its massive proportions it is a rather mediocre sedan. I might look into a two legacy GT if I were you. Insurance shouldn't be as high as a WRX, but still pretty fun to drive.

Old men and probably bball players that can't own a bentley. I saw one the other day with nice big 19 chrome rims on it and it looked much better than the stock ones; both kinds of stock rims dont look right to me.

Yeah--300C with 20s is the way to go if you must. I like them but I probably wouldn't have one at 17--its an older car. Also the SRT8 will have 425HP--and there will also be an SRT8 version of the Grand Cherokee with 425HP.
