Just watched the live reveal. The C7 Stingray looks awesome.

Note to GM: Way to go and let the corporate cheesed*cks steal the spotlight. The car is the star - not a stuffed suit.

My dad used to own a 1967 Stingray. I love they are bringing the name back. Looking forward to the performance reviews

I did like the quad tailpipes, but they hardly showed the rear at all. Looks like its got a duckbill lip spoiler, too.

Overall I like it, there are of course a few quicky things that Im not crazy about but overall thumbs up... The numbers are pretty damn impressive too.
And Im glad there was a significant effort put into the interior

Wow I'm impressed, surprised to see Chevy design that.

Looks awesome IMO, Not sure if I like the tail lights though, we'll see when they are out on the road.

Wow, that is a nice looking corvette. Very similar to the F12 berlinetta in the front.

Rear end is awuful. Definitely looks cleaner in silver than that red with black wheels. And I like red.

Nice, but not blown away. Looks like......well, a Vette. Original mock ups had it looking much more European, while still sticking to traditional Corvette styling cues. It was a much cleaner, sexier rendering. This is a little to busy for me. What i think is a moot point anyway, cause they'll still sell 25-35,000 units of this thing in it's first year out.

Did i say the rear end is awful? Which is unfortunate cause that's likely most will ever see.

Yep, it is a fine piece of engineering, but sadly like all modern sports or super-cars unless it has a low slug engine, like a flat 4/6/8, "government/safety" regulations have and are just spoiling designs...

It is bulk rather than being sleek, heavy looking rather than a pedigree look of a thoroughbred.

From the ''B Pillar'' back it is very messy and not clean, 'why' this guillotined rear end job.?

Still a great wheels..

Gauge cluster and steering wheel look like a C4.2 (i.e. designers in '84 looking "ahead" 10 years for the evolution of their current design).
