07 CX-7 price ?

Contiune from my Choice of SUV thread ...

I could've got Rx350, but my father is like nah afraid that someone might key/bump into the car. not worth it cuz NYC sucks.

so I sent a message to someone at Wayne Mazda saying my friend got it for 3.5K under invoice, which was a lie actually, but someone on the internet posted that he got a 07 CX-7 for 24K something, when the MSRP was 30 something K, so thats around 6K under MSRP.

lol, yes she got pissed. (Wayne Mazda) I asked for 2.5K under invoice, now she said if I can show her proof that someone got it 2.5K under invoice, she will sell me the car.

They have quite alot of 07 left in the lot, I saw it last saturday. but not sure if they will sell it to me at that price.

Why I post it here? cuz CX-7 forums out there are pretty quiet ... and I know alot of people with RX-8 also has a CX-7. so I think I should ask how much did you guys paid for your CX-7. year and trim. what kind of option you got ?

Thanks guys.

I have consumer reports. I think it was about 29K.

but sometimes it can go lower than that. right ?

Consumer report saids,

07 CX-7 GT AWD with Techonology Package ONLY. Invoice 30,267, Holdback 560, Actual price 29,707.

Its a 07, Im sure dealership wants to get rid of it, right ? They still have like 20 of them left in the lot.

I want the one with Remote start as well. one dealership has one the other one does not. its not required, I can always install it myself later. (its a pain I know)

got a reply back

she wants prove that people can do 2.5 K under invoice. so I did some search and found some Dealership in IL who is doing 5K under MSRP, which is just about 2.5K under invoice.

then she said its possible with 2.5K under invoice, but cannot do the MAC 0% financing for the 07.

so I replied and ask what kind of % and months for financing ? maybe I should ask is the peantly charge if I pay it off early ...

pre payment penalty depends on the state. maine does not have one. unfortunately im not a strong believer in using 0% the reason why your sales associate is asking that is because she wants to turn you into a payment buyer to get your mind off the price.

if your looking at a 15,000 vechile and you say its too expensive
the salesperson will say what payment are you looking to achieve? if you say 300 dollars a month then they can say we can do that and write the deal up and let finance close you.

if you honestly need a price portfolio with the invoice and a cx-7 prices on it let me know. i have no problem doing that, i can fax it to your father or yourself with my company letterhead on it. *with a business card*

its funny dealers are bitching about selling behind invoice. in maine thats the only way to sell cars.

I sell brand new 2007 4wd crew cab gmc trucks for 20990 after rebates.

Thats same sort of thing happened to me when I bought my 06 RX8. Sticker price was $42,790 (Im in Canada and yes thats the actual price, lol) I managed to get it for $32,500 but they wouldn't do 0% because they already had 07 RX8's in, and the 06 was not considered "new" anymore, even though it had 80 kms on it.

I called the Manhattan Mazda back today, they said they're willing to do invoice. 0% apr For 07, and 1.9% for 08. no problem.

I think I can talk them a bit lower for the 07, not sure about the 08. Have to see.

Thanks for your offer. but its 7 hour drive to your dealership so .....

I think the the NJ dealership lady is officially pissed off. She didnt reply my emails anymore. Wayne Mazda in NJ (The world's largest Mazda dealer I think)
