Yeah I know dude I was just saying... It could have even been pulled off by whoever owned it.

What is the difference between a shell and a skin anyway? It appears that all my interior pieces are the same.

a skin is just the outer piece of metal, if you look closely at the edge/lip of your door you will see where it has been wrapped around and "glued" down. a shell is a whole new door without the inner stuff i.e. window, window crank and motor, interior panel, etc.

depending on how badly damaged the door is most of the time you just replace the skin. unless the reinforcements are damaged on the inside of the door, but that takes a pretty hard hit. and looking at the pictures of Zenor's doors it looks like it would just need a new skin.

Oh okay gotcha....


Like I said, they tried to order a skin but there weren't any reliable retailers that sold it as a standard item.

It's okay though... Not my bill eh?
