1st tank of fuel. refuel 50 liters @ RM95 for 380KM. maximum rev up to 8,500rpm (four times) and change gear at around 3,500 to 5,000 rpm (normal drive), very good respond for all gears. Mid range power not as powerful as the first 3 gears, however, good enough. 7.6km/L for mixed drive on this 1st tank. with more consistent drive should be around 8.5Km/L.
Engine oil level is still between full and low.

I used to pump v power all the way til my mileage was ard 13000km...seriously
bro, I can tell u there is absolutely no difference between 98 n v power...or at
least, if there is, it is not significant enough for me to tell...although I must say
that the difference are clearer in a piston engine...

So, I think it wld be much better for u to save the money n go for 98

hi there i've just bought the 07 rx8 6speed AT, so for engine oil, wat is the suitable oil for rotary, either mineral or synthetic? and any idea on where can i get fog lights (original) cause mine is PI, so can't get from the mazda dealers, plus for fuel comsumption wise the 6AT consumes better than the 4 speed and the engine is not very hot...cause rotary very hot mah! the engine start up is also quieter leh! , should i put in a voltage stabiliser, auto start with car alarm, and a open port air intake for my RX8, or shld i just leave it as it is??

My fc after 2 tanks of 54L is 410km = 7.6km/l mixed drive - traffic and highway 40/60. I have the same question. what is the right engine oil to use? i heard normal mineral oil is fine and some said synthetic is fine... I am thinking I will just go for the semi synthetic oil, Shell Helix Plus 15w/50 is ok? anyone have any feedback on using this?

A very good question. I am not sure anyone on this forum has ever, ever discussed this topic of "mineral oil or synthetic."

I would suggest going to Google to find the answer to this new question. Maybe they may have an answer to this unique topic.

Wah, that's really bad fc... I suggest to send to service centre for a quick check-up. Although auto normally "drink" more but not like this. Hopefully you will find a "cure" to it.

It seems like getting worst after each tank. Had its first servicing 300km ago.

I am running on 235/35/19. Could it be SPC petrol. Feels like the car is running on flat tyres. Did a check on tyre pressure, everything seems in place at 240psi.
