HELP! please UK owners

Hi guys, i've been saving to buy my rx8 for a while now, i'm 19 with 2 years no claims and am desperate to buy the PZ edition. When i get insurance quotes, the standard 231hp car returns a quote of £1500 fully comp. The PZ, with no extra power, just better handling returns £4500!!!! even an rx7 listed as imported with mods is only £1700!? Anyone know what the cause for this is and how to go about getting a properly priced quote for the PZ? Would really appreciate some help with this, thanks.

Question £300 quid?

OK, I live in London, but I'd die for a £300 insurance quote! Over 25 (and then a bit) and 10 years claim free - and I hit £900+

Who did you get insured with?

Hi guys. Just to let you know that I had to give up on the PZ! But am now the proud owner of a 21000 mile, 55 plate, velocity red 8. Couldn't be more pleased with it and insured it for 1200 fully comp on a 231bhp car in the end with elephant . Thanks for the help anyway, I checked all your suggestions but due to age they all came out at ridiculous prices, hopefully it'll get cheaper in the future as I intend to keep it for a very long time.
