MazdaSport Magazine wanting to feature DGRR...
I just recieved an email from someone at MazdaSport Magazine..
This is what they wrote:

Phil -
I'm really interested in your event at Deal's Gap - do you have
anyone in your
club who could take a boatload of pictures, and then write up about
1500-2000
words about the event for the magazine? It's too late for the
current issue, but
I'd love to run a big feature on your event later in the year.
We want pics of people having fun, great pics of cars *moving*
against the
excellent Dragon backdrop, and pics of the whole gathering - like
from on top
of a building. Can you do that?
So, someone want to volunteer for this?? Anyone with any experience in writing?
PHIL

I'd be happy to take high res pics with my Canon SLR. I don't mind the write up, but it may be more appropriate to come from someone who knows the group a little more than I do.

Need some assistance on the photos. While on a small family vacation recently, I had my camera bag stolen. In it were all my filters, extra lenses and other equipment. Luckily I had the digital Canon out of the bag at the time. (Unfortunately, it doesn't take much of a lens to be worth more than the camera body.)
In short, I'll take pics in the parking lot but action shots on the Dragon need a better zoom. I know Killboy will be out there some of the time. Are there any budding photographers willing to submit photos? I don't want to disappoint anyone.
Doesn't anyone stop at a full stop sign any more? There is a full stop sign in my area that if the police where to sit there they would get writers cramp from writing some many tickets.
Someone needs to volunteer for this again. (Short write up w/ pictures)
My instincts were correct that I can't make it. Monday morning, I leave for a business trip to Seoul Korea, Dalian China and then Tokyo Japan with a return on the 25th.
