Got rear ended I still need to take a closer look at the damage, but so far those are the parts that are damaged and need replacing.

Preferably Winning Blue for the bumper, but all colors are welcome.

Did you check with insurance and see whether they're repairing the damage?


Try giving Mazda a call and see how much the OEM parts cost... and then decide whether you want to get aftermarket parts.

The bumper cover retails for $350 I believe, but it has to be painted.

I'm getting an estimate at the garage today on repair cost, but the problem is that it costs me 1000$ to claim and then for the next 6 years the insurance goes up, so if the 1000$ + the 6 years premium come out to more than what it costs to repair, I'd rather just get the frame re-bent into place and buy the parts.

Does that make sense to you guys?

Edit: Everyone is fine, the car was parked when it happened and no one was in it.

I got a 2007 Crystal White OEM rear bumper, there is a dent mark in the liscence place area, and 1-2 tiny scratches near the liscence plate area..... do you want it?

if the car was parked, report it to the cops. I had this happen to a shitty old Frd Escort i had. Some ahole in a crapy tire parking lot turned both pasenger doors into an accordion, no note no nothing.

Went to the Halton reporting station, they took one look at the damage, had me fill out a few forms then off to the insurance for me.

Because the car was parked with nobody in the vehicle they didnt jack up my rates.
