Hello,

As most of the toronto guys know, and anyone else who frequents the canada forms, I Was in a fender binder about a month ago. They finally started repairing my car. There was no major damage, just the front bumper and hood, everything underneath survived. Anyways, I had got a local shop to order me a CF hood.

The guy who I found through another local member has been telling me "it's coming tomorrow" for the last week and a half. and When i told him today, work cannot proceed on the car without the hood now, he finally owned up and told me it's stuck on some SKID of stuff he ordered and won't be cleared from customs until next Friday.

I simiply cannot afford to wait that long (been without the car for 4 weeks now). I'm looking for someone willing to sell me a stock hood, or CF OEM hood for our car that's local, or knows someone who can get it for me by end of week this week.

This is 911 guys, the car is sitting there, until I get a hood, and I really don' t want to have to wait for this guy to try and clear this package, as i'm not optimistic he'll be able to do anything before next friday, yet he choose to let me beleive i was getting the thing "tomorrow" for the last week and a half.

Any help is greatly appreciated. If you are local, or you can get me a hood by EoD on thursday (friday is a holiday) please respond to this thread or PM me ASAP.

Unfortunately, I am a driver in a wheelchair, and so my car has been specially modified for me (i believe there's one other guy on here who has something simliar).

Anyways, this means im without a car, and cannot get a rental. The aftermarket guy who i got via a recommendation from one of the guys on this forum has turned into a real nightmare.

I'm either going to get stuck waiting for this hood now, or spending extra money to try and get something rushed if mazda can find one locally.

If I end up getting screwed over by this shop you guys will hear about it!

I know it's sunlight silver, but I'm guessing that you'll be hard pressed to find a nordic green hood around here.

The guy replied to my thread above, but thanks. Probably going with a hood im getting from a wrecker, that can get it to me tomorrow for like 3-400, expensive, but it's insurance, at this point, i just want it done, and it's costing less than my CF was going to cost. I doubt even Kafka, will be able to get me anything by tomorrow.

Yeah...I have contacts but they dont have it in stock...good luck.

The wrecker is probably the cheapest and fastest route...

For CF, You may also ask JRP / Nextmod, albeit the price will be high - they won't lie and deceive you though.

Yes thanks to shaojie1984 for the offer, i don't think i can arrange pick up though. The original guy OZ Racing in Brampton, which im now offically telling people DO NOT USE!!! quoted me 850, and promised me 4 days, which turned out to be complete bullsh*t.

At this point he's now stuck with a hood, and im stuck trying to find one. to Shaoejie1984, for 150 the price is right, but i highly doubt i can arrange pick up, i guess ic an talk with my dealer and see if he's willing but waterloo is quite far, and then they'd have to strip and repaint it as well. The one im getting is unpainted and brand new.

Hey Guys,

After talking to the shop and mazda, they can't wait anymore for the hood, and the body guy is saying if insurance catches him using a wrecker hood, he'd be shut down, so now both him and mazda are say no go, and have ordered the stock hood, which they get tomorrow, which any luck will have my car back on tuesday or wednesday next week.

OZ Racing in brampton completely screwed me over, and ill say again, DO NOT use. They guy just tells you what you want to hear and a lot of "yeah, yeah! Tomorrow! I'll call you back in 20 minutes!"

It's very much appreciated, and ill make it out to a meet this year, let me know when they are starting.

Have to clean and poilsh up the rims this weekend so when i get it back i can get off the snow tires. Seeing as im going nowhere without a car, for the 4th weekend in a row .
