Site so dead... no meets

It's so dead... so many beautiful weekends and Fridays have come and passed... tonight is another beautiful Friday... I wonder what people are doing?

GTA chapter is truly dying...

it's summer... everyone's on vacation.. or in general.. just out having a good time. Doesn't help that most people have done the majority of the mods that they're gonna do... less of an excuse to meet up.

That begin said.. if you guys wanna meet up somewhere to help me install my rotors... I wouldn't argue

Well, there are specific meet dates yet to come. I know what you're saying though. Wish we could get together more often. You know, life gets in the way.

Isn't next weekend the dyno meet?

haha. i blame:

a) the economy-cause its easy to blame and cant defend itself
b) HST-because its fun to jump on the HST hate bandwagon and blame random things on it now
c) Al, because he ditched us for lame *** toyota
d) scott and jay for being done modding their cars, hence, less reason to get together on slow weekends
e) last summer being too intense. i dont know about previous summers as that was my first with the 8club, but we were doing something most weekends it seemed. it was pretty hectic and crazy. maybe people just want a break this year or like me, are trying to recoup some of the gas money they spent driving all over the place in their gas guzzlers

Any combination of the above will work. haha

After 5 years of being highly active with the AZ Mazda Club, we've found there are two times of the year the club isn't active.

June to September is usually touch and go because of the summer weather. Thanksgiving to February is also dead because of the holidays.

Still, if you want a meet then plan it!

Everyone needs to stop talking about meets and actually start organizing meets!
*me included*

Let figure out what's coming up in the way of things to do and then plan something around it or just do a show and shine to hang out and chat with old and new friends.

Cheers!
