RMP Motors servicing Mazda's....
Hey everyone, its been a while since I've lurked this forum.
Many of you know that I worked at Scarboro Mazda for a few months, great experience, worked with great people and learned that the dealership scene isn't quite my thing. A friend offered me a job I couldn't refuse, so I quit Mazda.
That job didn't pan out....just my luck.
So moving on, I came across an opportunity with Rocco at RMP Motors in Etobicoke (Steels & Hwy 27).
Rocco and his wife run RMP Motors which specializes in BMW, Ferarri, Audi, VW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche ect.
I started working for Rocco just a few weeks ago and I can honestly say, I have never met another person who cares for the well being of his customers cars as much as he does. He treats every car like his own. Such an awesome work enviroment and extremely clean too! Never have I worked in such a clean and well maintained shop.
Rocco personally owns a 2003 Maserati Gransport, early 90s Ferarri 348, 1997 BMW 540i, 1976 Triumph TR7 race car (600hp V8 powered, tube chassis) He also built and takes care of 2 2008 E90 BMW race cars that will run in this seasons Castrol Touring Cup races.
So since I am working at RMP, Rocco would like to see if any of the RX-8 or Mazda crowd would like to bring their business our way.
We DO NOT get into huge time consuming projects, we are a repair and service shop for regular maintence.
Here is a link to our website http://www.rmpmotors.com/
Let me know what you think, if the Mazda crowd is interested, Rocco will stock parts for your cars.
Joe

Yes we do shock/strut installs, lowering springs, coilovers, corner weight balancing, brake service (aftermarket and OEM), tire mounting and balancing.
Unfortunatly we do not have an alignment machine, which is too bad.
We are not open to the public on Saturdays, maybe for special customers or by appointment.
RMP has a huge reputation on the BMW forums, Rocco sponsers a few online forums.
Al I'll have to stop by sometime!

Joe,
Good to hear things are working out for you. I have a pain in the *** 2000 BMW 540 that needs attention like a spoiled hot chick. I'll give you a shout sometime.

I have heard nothing but good things about RMP. I hope things go well for you there as it sounds like a good opportunity and that you can help carry over the great service into the Mazda crowd.

Hate Scrape 8
i used to be on Maxbimmer, and RMP has a huge reputation. They seem to always win tons of award at the car shows like bimmercruise and eurofest. Good luck with you new job, and props to roccer for including the rx8 as the first JDM vehile to be in the shops

Footman, I'll talk with Rocco about pricing on Monday and get back to you.
Warren, not really sure if Rocco is into having car meets at the shop. I'll run it past him though.

From the internets:
Toyo Kogyo Co. The Toyo Kogyo Co. plant was located approximately 3 miles east of downtown Hiroshima.
On August 6, 1945, a B-29, the Enola Gay, dropped an atomic bomb (Little Boy) on Hiroshima, the first use of an atomic bomb as a weapon. The entire city of Hiroshima was destroyed by an American atomic bomb. Toyo Kogyo was Hiroshima's largest employer, and while the factory was located far enough from the city center to avoid serious damage, many of Toyo Kogyo's employees were not - 400 workers died.
Moreover, while damage to company facilities was minimal, because of its location 5.3km from the center, employee morale was devastated. Toyo Kogyo ceased all production activities.
The company immediately opened all facilities and its stock of medical supplies to the public, and devoted all its efforts to rescue activities.
After the war, the Toyo Kogyo Co. resumed production of cars and trucks, and in 1984 Toyo Kogyo changed its name to the same as the nameplate on the vehicles it produces: Mazda.
Mazda corporate headquarters are still located in Hiroshima Prefecture.
No idea its behind a mountain...but its close enough I guess...

Oh no!! not Bilstiens....sorry man.
Alot of BMW guys go for Bilstiens because they are cheaper than KW or Konis. In the last few weeks working with Rocco I've seen my share of blown shitty Bilstiens.
We just priced out a full set of Koni shocks and Eibach springs, installed for $1200 for an RX-8.
