I've got a question for u intake knowitalls

Cold air intake or Short ram?

I hear that cold air messes up the engine if rain gets in~

I ain't no pro... so i need some suggestions plz

Neither. Unless you just want more noise, that is. The best of them (maybe Rotary Extreme) have tested to show they only provide a few HP above 6000 rpm, no improvement below that. The rest of them don't provide any HP increase, but actually lose power. They all, however, make a lot of noise - for many people, way too much noise.

The factory RX-8 intake system is very well designed. There is not much power at all to be gained from replacing the intake.

Regards,
Gordon
