Quite impressed.
I made a " there and back " trip from the central interior of B.C. to Vancouver in my RX8 GT. The trip was @ 900 kilometers ( round trip ) we took a longer route, a lot of of travel on winding roads with some pretty good hill climbing.
This was our first trip of any length in the 8 and I was very impressed indeed,
sure we used a bit of fuel but the fuel cost was about equal to the cost of one of us travelling by air. We drove through a blinding blizzard in the Manning Park area but thankfully the roads remained wet with no snow accumulation.
This car handles just great on curves, I found myself accelerating through them and when passing going uphill clicking down on the paddle shifters was really a lot of fun, plenty of pep for passing. The leather bucket seats are probably the most comfortable seating I have had in any car previously. No question I would give it a 10 for comfort and performance, and to say the 8 is fun to drive is a real understatement, especially on the route we just travelled.
