Thumbs up New AEM Cold Air Intake Installed

I just had my CAI installed this week. It looks and sounds nice. I have noticed a bit of a difference in pick-up. Does anyone else have an AEM installed?

i thought the power difference was like 2-3 hp... and not really noticeable... interesting you feel the difference... i bet the sound is much more noticeable though.

my car is in the shop getting a bunch of stuff done right now, havent had it since monday, most important thing was getting the a/c fixed and oil changed, should be getting it back tomorrow morning. also waiting on the hymee scanalyser to come, should have that tomorrow sometime.

i cant wait.

I live in Kitchener/Waterloo and I can get the AEM CAI as well, but I am waiting for some dyno tests to be released on the aempower.com site. This is a big delema for me because im debating on the AEM or K&N typhoon. Don't think you could get any pics or sound bites of your intake could you?

Thx

It took 2 months to get it. I ordered it back in May. I don't have pics as of yet, but I will take some and post. As far as horsepower, I was told it was like 10hp (but now a days you can't go by what someone says) The noise is different to what I was used too, but it does sound nice.

P.S It is a polished one

i would be shocked if it was 10 hp. i bet sound is nice, and maybe a few HP.... i'll wait for some dyno sheets.

I got the K&N Typhoon ,some people say they lost power but I did not. No proof or anything but it sure does sound awesome when you get to the higher rpms....Lots of people ask if I got my exaust done.
