Lower Alberta Auto Insurance
Just wondering what others have heard on this topic, but I heard yesterday that our emperor ... I mean premier is forcing the auto insurance folk to cut rates again! Sweet.
By how much, I'm not sure but I remember hearing one news comment saying that it'll be about $2/month. If so, that's pretty crappy ... but money in my pocket is always good. I'm sure that there's going to be sort of schedule to work out savings.
Still, its probably not going to get as low as people in BC

I agree the government shouldn't be meddling with the industry, but it was them that asked the gov't to intervene a couple of years ago, now they want the gov't out... I am one of the most free enterprise guys on the planet but I don't agree with that stance. If they create a virtual monopoly (by requiring everyone to have insurance to drive a car), then the gov't must ensure that we don't get monopoly rates. All this bitching about "we have good years- we have bad years..." true but mostly political spin.
That said we need to punt Ralphie the closet LIEberal and his band of Red Tory merrymen/women (the current Pretend Conservatives) and install some REAL CONSERVATIVES!

Ya sorry man. I was very busy with politics- Alberta Separation Movement, and a trip (fact finding mission) to Onterrible - er I mean Ontario.
I'll pop in more often now that I completed a phase in my mission.
BTW the 8 is a dream pretty much on the long haul highways. Take a trip- You'll love it!
