Love this car.
Well, if there is a place to vent my joy, it is probably here.
After getting my car back, (after a 3 year drought) guys, I got to say I miss / enjoy my car that much more. The RX8 is such a breath of life, such a blissful little gem.
I take great pains to keep this latest one pristine....My detailer took 2.5 days to polish her and detail her inside and out. So, the finish is immaculate. Also, it helps, that I'm a cleaning-nut. So she remains nice and shiny... even in the worst commute weather. She's so clean, I bet it offends people while I'm on my way to work. Tee hee.
So... heading out to the local Warf in Steveston in Richmond BC. Stopping at the dealership along the way. Where the dealership tech joins me, oogling the hot RX8 with the fat rims. So good! On my way home, because I could not resist... I did a couple quick doughnuts in an empty parking area near RiverRoad Imax-SilverCity... my god, what glorious fun she is. My passenger was screaming "Woo Hoo!"
I love this car so much.
What more is there to say?
Zoom zoom!
PS: Thank you for the hook up Dannobre! I'm stoked about those rims!
Dannobre helped me get my hands on a set of lovely black and red lip rims that are 9-10 inches deep. The offset brings the rims to the edge of the wheel well - As the RX8 is meant to, Ahem! - I am simply staggered. Staggard with how much joy this little gem brings into my life. This car, (Our RX8) Man! she is so HOT!

Always nice to read a possitive report on a forum every now and again, i've had my car two weeks now and i'm still excited about it! Certainly on this side of the pond, there is NOTHING that offers the style, performance and shere pleasure for the money, has to be the coupe bargain of the century!

Crappy commutes tend to make me forget how good it is. Kind of get bored of it. But I went out for some twisties last night, and MY GOD was it good. Must remember to do that from time to time. And one heck of a bargain indeed, for what I paid for a used one there aren't many cars in any class with all the trimmings of the GT trim, let alone the performance, character and joy-ride goosebumps you get with the 8.
