Looking for help changing coils, spark plugs and wires in Newmarket, ON area
I'm looking for some help with regards to changing the ignition coils, wires and spark plugs on my 2008 RX-8 as I'm not particularly mechanically handy and would appreciate some expert guidance when doing this for the first time. I'm a bit concerned about screwing something up given how sensitive the RX-8 is to ignition issues.
I would be happy to provide recompense in terms of a case of your favourite beer and/or trade expertise in resolving most any sort of technology related issues
Ideally I would like to do it this weekend or next weekend, I have all parts on hand.

Here is how you could get started. I'd love to help, but I'm tied up the next couple of weekends.

- Look up engine
- Look up ignition system
- Look up ignition removal/installation
My recommendation is to change one coil with wire and spark plug at a time, this way it prevents any error in plug back in the wrong ignition sequence.

I am The One!
I would love to help, but my weekends are booked solid till Sept..
Too many people are born this month...
I'm pretty sure if you're tech savvy, working on cars is a breeze. Especially if it's just ignition wires and spark plugs.. nothing really complicated about it.
Tedious since you do have to jack the car up on the driver side and remove the front wheel to get to the plugs... but apart from that, not too complicated...
