I saw...
2 very sad things over the last couple of days here in this fair city of mine...
First was on Saturday. Going to a friends place in the downtown area, we pass a VR 8 in a parking lot. We had seen it before, but this time, we inspected it closer up. Has the Flares and airdam (I think they call that the 'appearance package'). Anyways, the interior looked like a tornado had hit it. Garbage and all kinds of other stuff everywhere. Dirty and disgusting. One of the taillights had condensation in it and puddles were forming at the bottom.
Second was this evening, driving along the 307 on the Quebec side. A TI 8 coming towards me. Basically, the engine sounded worse than a lawnmower. A really old, clunky, ready-to-die-any-second, explode-in-your-face kind of lawnmower. Probably hadn't been given any oil since it was bought.
Obviously people around this city don't take pride in what they own, or take care of their investments. It's hard t believe people would sink $45K (roughly) into a car and not take care of it. Really really sad
Anyone else seen people like this?
On a lighter note, I got to see the MX5 today at Hull Mazda :D

I agree w/you, but my best guess would be that they are leased and the people could care less as they are going to give it back.

only making it harder for the dealer to sell it afterwards (lots of repair costs involved).
my buddy mentioned last night that those kind of people are the ones that have money to throw away and have very little respect for what they have. sad, but true :\
