Crunched 8 on 427 this am!

Does anyone know who was driving the green RX8 that rear ended a Jeep on the 427 just south of the 407 this am? Did a good job shortening the 8 by a few inches. It is one of the few dark green ones sold, not very common at all.

When I was shopping for mine back in 2006, I checked out a green one owned by an Eastern European guy in Brampton. It looked good but the brakes were shot, and it was too scary dealing with an US car with god knows whatever warranty paperwork hell you have to go through to get anything fixed. Its a shame they didn't sell the green ones here, cause it looks very Jag/Aston Martin to the untrained eyes. I guess Mazda Canada wanted some differentiation from all the green MX-6s that are still on the road.

They did sell Nordic Green here. I've seen one in person.

I take that route every morning. I did not see that particular accident today but i have seen that car a few times. I suspect he comes off of Zenway East (as I come off of Zenway West) then heads S on the 427.

The only other 8 with that colour which I have spotted a few times was in the Sheppard/Allen area driven by a yonge blonde chick.

Hey All,

Unfortunately that was me. I hate that on ramp, i've had a couple of close calls there before this happen.

Anyway, all the damage is cosmetic luckily, didn't break my rad or anything, just my bumper and hood are gone, freaken high vechiles.

All i did was turn m head to check the blind spot and SMACK, traffic came to a stop from doing about 40, because my head was turned for that split second, itw as like running into a brick wall, he was at a full stop, my head was still turned to the side when i hit into him. I'm pretty pissed, but at the same time, not much I could do about it. Anyways at least the damage is all cosmectic and nothing is broken or bent on the frame of the car.

I dunno when ill get it back, it's at the dealer right now waiting for insurance to look at it.

I'm looking for after market parts, if anyone knows can they reply to my thread:

Thanks,

Wheels

Yield signs are the worst. A lot of people don't understand the difference between yield and stop signs and come to a complete stop regardless. Meanwhile I'm following them expecting them to drive right through since the road is clear for merging.
