Crappy aftermarket 194 corner bulbs
Hey guys
For those of you that replace your amber corners with clear corners and decided to also change the 194 bulb to white or amber LEDs. Just wanted to tell you guys to NOT buy the cheapo Canadian Tire ones like I did. I changed my stock 194s to white 194 LED and they lasted me for under a year! One bulb is burnt out and the other flickers like a strobe! If I was in the Fast and the Furious, I'd probably get MAD PROPS for the strobe ... but IRL, no! That's pretty crappy quality, no? LEDs are supposed to outlast regular bulbs aren't they? You know, due to their inherent lower bulb temp, etc.
Anyways, I'm probably just going to swap back to the stock 194 for now until I can find a reputable LED. Any suggestions? Heard the PIAA ones are not bad.

ive had the same problem at one point all 4 led 194s in the front were flickering.. lucky i didnt get pulled over... looked like 5-0 was coming up yo ***..
however i like the look and dont mind changingthem every once in a while...
ive tried the ones from ebay.. they sucked... PIAA is overrated.. from numerous past experience.. and you are basically paying for the name brand..
im sticking with the single LED ones from TYPE-R..or whatever.. they seem to be working fine for now.. and only paid 8$ for 2 bulbs..

Stock bulbs are clear (kinda yellowy). Here's a pic of my clear corners with stockers on. Not bad but I like the LED look.
As for stealth amber bulbs, you can probably find them on Ebay.
I know at Mazdatrix they sell it. As for getting it locally or Canadian, I'm not sure .. maybe Canzoomer?

Here's the LED pics. But as I said, I'm currently looking for GOOD quality LEDs. I added a pic with LONG exposure for fun (it's actually not THAT blue)
