Winter has been long, that's for sure. But the weather is looking up. At least we're fairing better than Japan at the moment.

Im from mississauga, and probably one of the only colombian rx-8 drivers in canada lol. Yah it definitely sucks when you work all week, looking forward to the weekend, and then when the weekend hits, there's nothing to do but chores....

Kinda weird timing seeing as how we're about to hit $2/lt for regular fuel this coming summer. It's a good thing I don't use the FD as my primary car anymore. lol

I seriously doubt the cars at that show are going to be "better" than any of our cars. Different might be a better word. I think the charge for admission is primarily for the bikini/jailbate contest.

Well it's a project in progress and it's been a steep learning curve.
I'm trying to have it running by earlier April ..... but I've come a across a few delays .. like needing a new/repaired radiator and a down pipe redesign.
I want to at least 300 hp ... 350 is my goal ... 400 is my dream.
I don't give a ratts *** about fuel prices ... not like all these other whiners on the forum ... seriously why the **** buy a sports car if gas prices are a concern to you???? REALLY COME ON!?!?!?!
Bring on 5 dollars a litre I SAY!!!!! Will make the 8 extra rare and hopefully cast out all those pimply high school and college kids that are still suckling off their parents teat for allowance.
I swear if I see another gawd damn thread about freaking mileage ...... I'm going to go postal ... absolutely my biggest pet peeve .... for the love of christ NO MORE MILEAGE THREADS!!!!!

You know, you make a very good point wcs. The high fuel costs will definitely detour all the snot nose kids from buying cars like these.
I honestly haven't seen to many mileage threads on this board. Nothing like you would see on the Mazda3 forums. All those guys ever do is complain about stuff. They never talk about anything else. Almost like the world is out to get them or something.
Only reason why I brought up the fuel costs is because there are lots of events I want to make too this coming season. But I'm absolutely strapped for cash. The high fuel costs isn't going to help matters.
I've been trying to save some cash for this coming season. But it's an on going battle. There are so many other extra things that keep cropping up.
Regardless, I hope we have more actual meets this season. The past few years have seen very few get togethers.
I'm on vacation that week so I most likely will come down if I can get the rx8 unflooded my brother flooded it back in November. Need to pull the plugs last resort hopefully I can get her started.

Going to get her going this weekend hopefully. I drained the battery in December trying to get it going but I just think the plugs are really fouled. It was too cold at the time to do any work to it.
