Since the other thread got kinda crazy thought I would start a new one with a clear understanding of what the idea is and the fact that most ppl wanted a cruise.

THE PLAN

1. 1st stop East/North end meet: 7:45am FairviewMall (Shoppers Drug Mart around the back), roll out at 8. If you aren't there by 8 go to 2nd meeting spot.

2nd stop East/North meet West: 8:30ish Timmies Head office, roll out at 9. If you aren't here by when we head out, meet you at the tire shop install (3rd stop).

2. Cruise down to Niagara and go across to the states.

3. A few ppl are picking up some tires and new mods at 24 hour auto shop.

We are NOT stopping at the shipping. Mike will bring our stuff to the shop. Make sure your name is on it and call him prior to the meet e.g. Thursday

If you have any suggestions on what you would like to do after the install by all means post up. We are all usually pretty open with whatever and don't care as long as we are driving our 8's

On a side note: I am picking up my ms exhaust and new coils from Cardinaleway Mazda (best prices I can find on the web), You can just order it on your own since it's free shipping. Free shipping from Cardinaleway Mazda is 5 or so days ground.

Dude it's not really a modding meet, it's a cruise and just a good time to take advantage of being over there. 2 hours TOPS if not less on getting the tires and exhaust in. Great reason to do both.

Thanks for starting the thread Thumper!

Should mention that my install will be very quick because the tires and wheels will be ready and waiting. Just needs to slap them on. If Jay gets news tires to go on his rims, his will be very quick too. So the day can be as long or as short as we want it. The install is only a small part of the day.

As a reminder, $25 is up fro grabs to the third volunteer I need to haul a tire to across the border and to Oakville, ideally.

johnny famous, we are working on trying to get the more US interest...but nobody seems to be biting yet. im hoping it was because of how lose all the plans were at the time....or maybe there just arent any/many rx8clubers from the area and no one wants to make the drive. im really hoping more US guys will come out though. when i was part of a suzuki club, we had a meet with a group from quebec and it was a blast. its so weird how a few KMs and everyones cars are so different and their ideas about them are all different too. its just really nice meeting across borders or groups you know.

do you guys think i should take the 8 on a long drive like that with a turbo or should i wait a while. I'm tuning it for everyday use and keeping boost very low. I was at RPM today and joe said everything should be alright.
