Are these open lapping or restricted to specific passing zones?

I've attended quite a few of these events they are usually restricted to certain passing zones only allowed to pass when signaled by the car your passing. the rules are fairly lose thu. last yr the dunnville track had few cars at the beginning of the season and built momentum by the end of the season got a bit crowded. they need to be stricter with the rules last yr there was a certain 350z that was spinning out all over the place and getting in everyones way they needed to tell him to get the **** off the track. you cant find cheaper track time and greg i strongly recommend hitting up the dunnville track al i think you'd be annoyed by all the noobs getting in your way.

that 350z driver was banned, he won't be coming back
and he already paid his price for his blown engine and damages on that day.

yes, im really looking at dunneville....whats the wall situation like at dunneville? Im completely scared off from mosport from al. lol. so i guess it would be best to go early in the season and maybe hope for smaller turn out like last year? im just worried about the track being crowded. i dont have any track experience and i dont want to be getting in peoples way all day you know.

Greg let me know what days you want to hit up and we can go.

Just ask for an instructor for the first few times around (world of difference) and usually different classes (2) and you will be fine.

OH and the Mosport DDT track is NOT the track Al is talking about. DDT is like a baby track compared to Mosport so no worries there!!

sweet guys. so you two gonna prepay? im thinking ill prepay if im going at all. that way im guaranteed a spot and it saves a few bucks so i can rent a helmet while im there. my only issue with prepaying is that i wont be going if its raining, and these seem to be held rain or shine. oh well, its a gamble i supose. i honestly cant wait for this season to kick off and get some real time on a track and get the first one out of the way so im not so nervous about the hole thing.

Meet the guy in the turbo RX8 last season....nice guy. I enjoyed the touge lap days.....may enjoy them now that I have a faster car.....I remember the z guy.....seemed I saw a Z like that at other lap events held by other groups.....The Z is one of those cars that requires a little bit of finese and skill to drive really hard....more often then not the people driving them dont have skill to match thier car.....and the problem comes in when they dont realize that. Maybe they need to crash a bike at 180km/hr like I did and live thru it to humble them.....although.....I would have gladly taken the blown engine to learn my lesson instead
