ON 2009 Toronto Luxury/sport Owners Cross Meet, NEW Monthly Toronto standing meet dates

Well , its back by demand after a short pause for 2008 .
The Toronto Lexus owners meets bi weekly in the west and east ends.
Check back often and subscribe to this post for updates on locations .
I will try and have the last Saturday ones be sponsored by shops who will have giveaways and free food.
If you know of any shops interested in the business let me know the contact info and I'll give them a shout.
It is an open invite but leave the kiddie antics of showing off at home . None of us want police attention because some kid started pumping bass or doing burnouts .
I will also be inviting the other luxury sport clubs I am part of out to make this a larger more interesting event.

The 2nd Thursdays (west end) Mississauga and last Saturdays (east end), Scarborough of every month.

Thursdays will be held at Tim Horton's @ 8 PM in Mississauga directly across the street from the old meet spot at Krispy Kreme .
At 9-10 pm we can walk over to Casey's , which after 9pm has 1/2 appetizers at the bar

Saturdays will be held at Tim Horton's @ 8 PM in Scarborough ,Kennedy Commons (Kennedy/HWY 401) located behind the Rona.
Afterwards we can arrange to go somewhere else to eat each month such as Korean BBQ or PHO or plain old wings .

Yeah, I haven't been to a K.C. meet in a long time. I might have to check one of these out.

Sorry for not being clearer .

The west end ( Mississauga )Tim Horton's meet is on west of Mavis on the North side of Britannia (401/Mavis) directly across from the home depot .
The east end (Scarborough) meet is Kennedy /401 Tim Horton's behind the Rona on William Kitchen road .

"It is an open invite but leave the kiddie antics of showing off at home. None of us want police attention because some kid started pumping bass or doing burnouts."
But then one of your meets, "The west end (Mississauga) Tim Horton's meet is on west of Mavis on the North side of Britannia (401/Mavis) directly across from the home depot." Is quite possibly the worst location to have a meet without kiddies doing stupid **** and cops passing by frequently. I used to work at that Home Depot and it was constantly rammed full of cars and kids at the Timmies/Scotiabank regardless of the night each week.

I'd highly recommend changing that location...If anything do it in the Rona parking lot there. It's a big wide open lot since practically no one goes there...Plus still in walking distance of Casey's

Just my 2 cents!

If you have that on the back of your car please come out i would love to make some fried rice with some of the cars there !! LMAO
It is not the best location and i really want shops to host them so we get free food and prizes liek a i did 2 years ago,
The faster the ball gets rolling with attendees the more viable it is for a company to use it to give members free stuff.

Just incase anyone is wondering i am not making or trying to make anythign off this . It started from the being bored of the same ol thing all the time . I am a car enthusist so i want to see cars and the owners who mod them . I have enough friends with cars, this is about owners who enjoy them.

I think most of us know what you're trying to do. And it's apperciated. There's a large number of us who started out just showing up at the meets and have eventually become friends and just hang out regardless of meets.

It's always cool to see what people are doing with their cars... the enthusists and what not. The one note I'll state though is most mazda driver's arent that friendly with the Honda boys.. hahah

But the meet sounds like a great idea, i will attend once i pick up my car and insure it all that jazz

Yeah... damn S2000 drivers.. they have like 4 more fp of torque and they think they can get away with calling us torqueless wonders.. bptf! It's all jokes though.. most people don't take it too seriously. Either way we're all getting our asses handed to us by the 350's until we hit a corner.. lol

sadly, the 370Z has us and the s2000 beat now. the corners arent ours to own now with the upgraded handling on the Z. oh welll, rx8s and s2000s can just hang back and do our own thing. lol. Actually a few weeks ago when i went to the falls, i cruised up the 420 most of the way with a yellow s2000. it was kinda funny, a red and a yellow sports car in the slow lane doing the limit being passed by minivans and pickup trucks. lol. quite a spectacle im sure.

Just a friendly neighbourhood reminder that the meet is this Saturday April 25th . Yah it is the end of the month already .
So it starts at 8pm BUT...............

A few people are heading to Grand Prix Kartways (downsview park , Keele and shepherd ) at 5pm to get some laps in before going to the meet. If interested just drop by as we should not be hard to miss.

See you then,
Also a few people i have met seem to feel shy about coming out to meets for the first time.
it is not something to worry about , we are not there to scrutinize your car , your shoes or your hairline.
It is all about talking to like minded people with similar interests and car ownership. We get lots of newcomers each meet so you can make yourself one of them too.
BTW Don't show up at 8 pm sharp and expect anyone to be there as people like to be fashionably late around 9.(myself included)
