Damn - you beat me to it Dave!
Committee decided to post on RX8 Club (.com.au forum as well), REACT and Ozrotary I think it was - to invite participation on the day. and I have yet to do it on the rx8club.com.au forum yet - maybe you could do it for me
RENEW run a tight track day and as mentioned it is a good opportunity to familiarise yourself with the track or get some practice in. For those who haven't been to a track day before you will get an understanding of how they are run.

Actually going down to Wakefield today with others from the RENEW team that is entered in the FOSC 6 Hour Regularity Relay at Bathurst next month. Link for those interested in what it is about www.fosc.com.au/Pages/Bathurst/FoSC@Bathurst.htm
Some theory tonight and instruction on the track tomorrow..........all necessary for prepping to go round Mt Panorama particularly as it will be the first time

Still spots open for this kids.
Will be at least 3 RX8's there and various other rotary eye candy.
Tell your Mum you'll buy her dinner instead and bore her with your track war stories from the day...

For those who elected to deliver Mum carnations, you missed a fantastic track day.
Best weather I've ever seen at WPR and the RX8's present were all posting some very competitive lap times. Clement was fastest with a 14 dead, I managed a 14.4 and I think Alan just scraped into the 14's but I'm not sure by how many tenths.
Plenty of track time with only about 20 cars there. Some passenger sessions too which aided instruction and permitted some joy rides for spectators.
Sure hope those cucumber sandwiches at Grandma's were worth it.
