V8 Rx8
In the process of joining RENEW and stumbled across this in their forum:
http://www.iboettcher.com.au/our_race_cars.htm
I'll buy a beer at the Nats for the person with the funniest response.

Unf#$%&@believable - that's the worst web site I've seen in years. Put me off my dinner. I'm dumbfounded... can't even think of something funny.
Then the realisation... it all makes sense... the location... Ipswich... the *** end of the earth... but perfect for the "price conscience" consumer.
P.S. I'll buy a beer for anyone who wears the Ian Boettcher Polo Race crew shirt to the Nats.

Even I hate this site and I am not even a professional.
There is a website that you can submit those pages... what is it? www.websitethatsucks.com or something?
I read his book at Borders (gasp!) and it was a good coffee read. :p

Hmmm.... If the beer became a rumbo or a very nice drop of red my brain could work much harder...
I guess my first thought is about those radio controlled cars that all have the same chassis and engine. All you do is slide a plastic body over the top and a Monaro becomes a RX-8.. So I think that the page is showing us the Ipswich Radio Controlled Cars Club members' cars.
If they are real cars then the race track can't have any curves,,
Cars for the computer illiterate - no computers - just carbies and cable brakes.. :p

Cool,
Thanks for the link Revolver. Nice to see someone has put a nice shape on one of their dirt-track cars. If these guys like dirt track racing, that is fine. Whatever rows your boat.
I've seen BMW with a 4 rotor in it, and an EL falcon with a 20B in it. So what is wrong with a V8 race car with a RX-8 look-a-like body?
Cheers,
Hymee.

There's a 325 cabrio down here with a 20B in it. Goes like the dickens, with brakes and suspension to match. It was for sale via Ausrotary - see link . A really fantastic conversion, with something like 320hp at the wheels. I imagine it's given a few M3s an awful fright :D
As Hymee says, those are dirt cars. What body ya want??!
