Sydney Cruise Sunday June 19th
OK after many demands and requests here we go. The drive will form two parts, one for th early risers and one for those soft options who like a little sleep in
DATE: Sunday 19th June 2005
STAGE 1:
WHERE:Meet Dural McDonalds 8:00am for a 8:30am SHARP DEPARTURE
WHERE TO: Up Old Northern Rd, on to Galston Rd and then a nice spirited drive through Galston Gorge then out the other side to Hornsby (Waitara) Mc Donalds to meet with the other Drivers.
STAGE 2
TIME: 9:30am Waitara McDonalds for a 9:45am departure
Cnr Waitara Ave and Pacific Hwy Waitara. Heading towards Hornsby from Pennant Hills it is on your right.
WHERE TO: Brunch at Terrigal Crown Plaza Beer Garden @ approx 11:30am (Beat the lunch rush and still manage to get parking spots.)
THE DRIVE: Pacific Hwy via Hornsby. Some fun driving up the Pacific Hwy, we will stop at the half way cafe for a drink and some chat, then on again up the best bits of the Old Road through to Gosford and then on to Terrigal.
TERRIGAL: For the uninitiated the Beer Garden at the Corwn Plaza is very nice and has a variety of food, be sure to bring something warm incase an ocean breeze is blowing.
THE RETURN: The return trip will be via the F3, however I am up for expressions of interest if a return via the old road is desired.
Well there you go, the trip is out there for the taking.
Please let me know if you want to attend so we can get an indication of numbers.

Bump. I reside in sydney and know where Dural is.
Thats an hour from me. So my question is, wheres Waitara, perhaps closer, and allows me to sleep in!

Had a fun arvo with the Canberra boys (see thread).
Looking forward to the Sydney run - at least Gibbo will outbling me!! :D :D
And Hymee, having now seen AND heard the catback I'm saving even harder. Hopefully place an order next month.
