RX8's for a wedding? (14/04/07) WSydney
Hey Guys,
I am a member of Ausrotary and i was going to ask this question there but thought this would be a better place to start.
I am getting married on the 14th of April this year, (yes next weekend)
at Penrith, Western Sydney and would love to have RX8 wedding cars.
I know it is very little notice, but unfortunately my other plans fell through at the last minute.
I have cars arranged for the bridesmaids, but I would love to have RX8's for
the groomsmen.
I need a minimum of 2, but if I was able to get more, that would be great.
Id prefer 2 of the same sorts of colour black/grey etc,
(but this late in the game im not going to be picky)
The wedding does have a rotary theme already, with as much input as I was allowed, with even the wedding cake being a rotor shape (3 tier)
So if anyone can help me out that would be great, i am happy to pay for the time petrol ect + you would get some great pics of your car.
The wedding is at 2:00pm, and driving is approx 5km (total)
thanks Nathan

Lucky you already organised cars for the bridesmaids lol I'd be pissed off if I was the bride and had to get in and out of the RX8 haha
There were a few guys on here who in the past have assisted in weddings. Being its Easter weekend... might take a while for people to reply so dont stress.
lol love this bit.......

Anyway all the best, hopefully the guys check the forum ASAP.

I've provided my car for a previous wedding. It was a bit of fun and the bridesmaids and bride didn't have a problem getting in and out.
Unfortunately, I'm busy next Saturday but hopefully you'll get some guys to help you out.
BTW, when running the white ribbon, you need to play with it a little to get the right angle, so build in some time for experimentation and have some spare ribbon.

I took a bride to her wedding in my 8. It was an all rotor affair too. Many old and new skool rotors.
Hope you get some help. Looks like you have one willing helper already.
I found with ribbons go inside the bonnet latch and then tie onto the sun visor arms. Works like a treat!
Good luck for the wedding.
Yes I love the cake bit too....you are a lucky man and should make sure you are very good to your future wife for letting you have the cake!!

Do you have any pics of the car? That way I can try and find similar cars.
Would be all finished by 3pm (so im told)
I'll PM through all the details for you.
I really appreciate your help.
And to everyone else, i'll take a photo of the cake and post it up!
Cheers
