RX-8 Owners in Brisneyland?

Has anyone heard of a move to create a Bris Vegas RX-8 club? We'd be interested members if one got going.

I am an insurance broker so I know that the insurance for a club will not be cheap or easy to get.
I have spoken about forming a club here in Brisbane too.
The idea that we had was to form a sub chapter of the MX5 club until we have enough numbers on our own to justify the costs of doing our own club.

Thoughts about this guys?

Despite the name they're open to a wide variety of cars, but mainly aimed at anything rotary powered. Very nice bunch of people, who I'm sure would like to have a few 8's amongst the ranks.
