AU Oil FilterMag Really Works!!

Did a service and Changed oil and filter.

Here are the results of the Filtermag after being on for only 1690 KMS!!!..

Very happy when you consider the 09's have a factory internal sump magnet.

the Filtermag catches the oil 'metal' as it circulates.

Thoroughly recommend this product.

Also..

Because of a "shipping" stuff up...too long to explain...I have a double order of SS250 Filtermagnets.

So I have 2 available to anyone who wants one....Boxed and brand new only $AU55.00ea delivered (in Australia ONLY).

You can see what it looks like in the pic.^^^

PM me if you want one.

Series 1 RX-8's have NO magnet installed by Mazda.

VERY easy to install, about 1 second!

The size is for any "small" oil filter...

Just happens to fit the 8 perfectly.

It is held on by it's strong magnets on the outside of the filter.

You can see it (SS250) if you look hard enough...

YES they are reusable and will last a lifetime..

When I wiped the inside of the oil filter all the Metal Particles were as fine as toothpaste!!...black toothpaste!..

The strong magnets picks up metal smaller than 25 microns which your oil filter can not catch.

So, you have engine oil that will stay cleaner and your oil filter...a very good investment that will fit on ANY new Mazda.

Just DO IT!!

I just wanted to inform ALL RX-8 owners that IMO this is a critical MOD or ADD on which will help to save your engine and keep your engine OIL from circulating minute metal particles around your engine below 25 microns...your Oil Filter CAN NOT Catch these.

Considering the Series I RX-8's 04-08 have NO factory installed Sump Magnet like the FC RX-7, and Mazda have re-introduced this same sump magnet in the 09 RX-8's....I would ask...WHY????

IT IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY TO HELP YOUR RENNY'S ENGINE...
PLEASE JUST DO IT!!

Ash, I'm sold on this magnet and just tried to order it. When I type in the car model details it suggests 2 magnets. A small or a large. Would I be better off with the large as it is a stronger magnet? The one you recommend is the smaller one.
The other question is, does it matter where they are placed on the oil filter?

The answer is out there.
The recommended ones appear to be the same size. It's just one is stronger than the other.

/\ WRONG.....

They look similar sizes but the HP250 is THICKER and WILL NOT FIT ON an 09~ RX-8.
Where the SS250 will Just fit.

Should not be a problem with Series I 04-08 RX-8 for either size..

The HP is a Stronger Magnet that you pay more.

Location Matt?, supposed to be away from the heat side of the engine.
