Has Anyone got their car yet?

Ok,

It looks like I'm not going to win this one but has anyone here actually had there car delivered yet?

We are all so............. close.

First person to drive out that dealers door needs to post here to let us all know what it like to have one for yourself.

My delivery is looking like early next week so from what I have been reading here it looks like I am not going to be no1!!

Might be me...

My baby arrived in the showroom last Thursday. Good chance i'll be picking it up tomorrow 'cause if I don't, dealers gonna sell it to someone else.

Just had a few issues about getting the golf clubs in the boot but I think we'll have to make a compromise on that and buy the damn thing.

Soooooooo excited...I'd like to think that at this age (23) I don't tend to get excited that easily but it's great to have the "be ten years old again" deja vu feeling...

For those that pick up their car soon, could you please post the oil viscosity requirements for your cars as stated in the manual?
Thank you.

Thumbs up Colour coded keys

richwu i spoke to fiona from mazda head office ,the colour coded keys will be sent out to us from head office and not from the dealer ,once you have payed and picked up your car .

Most likely colour coded key will be sent with congratulatory letterfrom mazda within 1 week of purchase.

It's all getting too hard to get my act together this week (lot's of things on at work), so looks like I'll be picking it up next week.

So, I won't have my car before the drive day!

PS. Just saw the Today show which had a quick review... looks fantastic in motion, and they thought it was terrific... "you can't please everyone, but Mazda have gone very close"

See some of you Monday.

Just saw my RX-8!!

Visited the dealer today to see my Silver RX-8. Was holding off on the purchase until I'd seen the silver in the flesh. It looks awesome, so needless today have commited to the purchase and will pick up the car tuesdayish next week following tinting etc etc.

Counting the sleeps but at least it is now within reach. Happy with dealer, car is locked out the back with plastic etc still on it. Was concerned re letting people look etc, this is not the case.

Giddy Up!

I've finally pick up my RX-8 today!!
I should have pick it up on last Friday, but since I went to ski, so I have to wait until today to pick it up.

Also, my dealer told me, I'm the first one to pick up the RX-8 at Hornsby, alright!

But it is harder than I thought, the clutch is so short and light, I don't really get use to it. I had just learn manual for a week, I only driven a Corolla before, it's a bit difficult for me to get use to it, since it is a sport car, and I think it is a bit different than the one I drove at Eastern Creek, the one at Eastern Creek is easier, maybe because that clutch had already wear out.

Anyway, I'm really enjoy it, hopefully it's only take me a week to settle down.
