for 250K off the road, this is very average build was shocking for a show car. as for the rear window I have seen plumbers do a better job with silicon.

they had a white rx-8 that was very popular since they were letting everyone sit in it (big deal) i didn't even bother taking pic's. they had a concept? crossover 4wd sport thing (which bores the crap out of me). you might as well just go along to the local dealers.

most displays were like this.

You've confirmed my suspicions. I had read about that thing and after first thinking what an ugly thing it was (nice concept, bad proportions) I wondered about the build quality.

I thought about going along yetserday, until I heard about the gridlock and queuing ....

I might have made the effort though, had I known Boonie was going to be there!

The consensus in our family is that the white RX-8 looks crap. I really liked the new MX-5 close-up. The crossover concept had some resonance with my son-in-law, who saw some room for compromise with my daughter on a family car with some 4WD capability. However, she liked the Passat estate car better.
