1,000 Km Service

Have to book mine tomorrow..

No oil change unless you ask (and pay) - and if you want a certain type of oil (rotary, synthetic, olive ) don't forget to ask

No. I had mine last week. All they seemed to do was check everything. Not exactly the definition of a service to my thinking.

I had my car for 7 days before some turkey opened his door into mine in a car park with the usual dent and loss of paint. Makes you sick!!

Should I get the oil changed at 1,000km?

Maybe 5,000? Are the rotor seals as sensitive to dirty oil as they used to be?

Worth getting oil and filter changed at 1,000k, IMO. I also change my oil and filter every 5,000k.

When they did my 1k service they advised AGAINST an oil / filter change... They forgot to change the "next service" sticker too.

Yes is the answer. If you think about changing oil, then you should change it. I am changing mine every 3000km.

I agree. Oil is cheap (Gomez, pls note that, and don't forget to remind me of it, when we're paying $2/litre for fuel)
