Has anyone added another LED (or two) wired into the Factory alarm light? If so, how hard was the install?

The location of the little car icon is not easily seen by passing admirers and I want something a little more noticable for the wife's new RX-8. If one could just add a few LEDs, like at the top of the doors or dash, it might reduce the finger and nose prints from the windows.

Has anyone done this mod with any success? My apologies if this is a duplicate, but I cannot find an affirmative reply elswhere in the forums.

Plan to install the shock sensor upgrade this week, but would love an LED alert to warn would-be theives to find quieter pickings.
