tough day to be an eagles fan  , just about everyone is calling me to rant about what they think went wrong or when they believe the turning point was. Personally i blame the defense :nono: . But i do hope kearse is ok, radio said it doesn't look good according to post day interviews.

My Bears finally had some offense to mix with the defense! :ylsuper:

i'm glad the bears did win after startin shit for the past few days, they do look great so far this year. I'm watchin dallas now, owens first play was a technical foul penalty , i'm glad he's not here anymore.
fantasy note: peyton manning is helping me kill the competition (i pick him first instead of a RB, i was the 11 pick and the usually top 10 RB's were gone by then.)

TO is a shitface. He's pissing me off. He talks such a big damn game yet he's dropped EVERY GODDAMN pass thrown to him this game. They've all been easily catchable passes.

I don't mind smacktalk if you can back it up.

How much are we paying this asshole again?

TO makes those catches and the score would be like 30 - 10 dallas right now.

If the bears offense stays healthy and grossman plays an entire season, they're a super bowl team.

I am a die-hard bears fan, so I'm extremely excited to see what the bears can do this year. It will be interesting to see them play a quality team, like baltimore or Indy.

the skins are running well against dallas without portis for the first half here, they can't seem to stop these plays. plus dallas dropped like 8 passes so the skins gotta take advantage.

The Eagles are much improved. Mcnabb healthy TO gone Stallworth looks good. The NFC East looks strong this year.

The Redskins better get a rush and the ball in the hands of these expensive weapons. Someones going to fumble or allow an interception because of the hitting by the Skins secondary. Looks like it will go down to the wire.... Skins win!!

they have to win games like today's and next week against the 49ers. with the giants going to seattle next week probably for a loss the giants would be 0-3. instead both teams will probably be 2-1 this time next week.

also i'm sporting the mcnabb jersey at the meet next week, gotta share the love in southern philly.

No Eagles fan here. Just thought I'd add this:

SNY reporter David Lee and cameraman Christian Perez were greeted with obscenities and flying bagels when they arrived at the Linc parking lot Sunday for the Giants game with the Eagles, according to the NY DAILY NEWS.

Upon returning to their SUV following the Giants' win, they found fans already had said goodbye - Philly style.

The right side mirror was ripped off, the back wiper was bent, part of the SNY logo was scraped off, one tire had been slashed, and the car had been "washed" with a combination of urine and beer. "I don't think I want to return to Philadelphia anytime soon," Lee said.

Lito Sheppard is hurt and Eagles had problems with the Saint's receivers in the regular season. Saints were missing some players the last 4 games, notably Horn and their steroid run stuffer Thomas. Short week too for the Eagles not to include the trip to NO. I'm going with the Aints in this one.

Well, the Saints managed some impressive wins during the latter part of the regular season even without Horn..

THe only 2 losses they had in the closing weeks were the Redskins.. Not sure what happened there, but that right after the win against Dallas .. and that was a short week I believe.. And the Panthers, which was a game we didn't need. They played second string after like half the first quarter...

So I agree with you :D

Then plead to theFederal gov to stop robbing our state of resources and using it as a garbage dump for the petroleum industry. We only get 2% of the oil revenue off our coast. Eagles played their ass off without a doubt. Great game. Saints got torched on a couple of plays but pulled it out their ass. Eagles lit up Reggie on his first catch and he was literally crawling on the ground. Have no idea how he didn't break a rib.

Nah, its not just the Cowboys. The team is a mediocre team at best. They played 4 teams in the regular season that eventually made it to the playoffs and got brutally crushed each time.

however, they were 11-1 against teams who didn't make it to the playoffs :smoker:

I'm surprised the cowgirls beat them as much as they did considering how bad the cowgirls sucked initially and throughout the year until they picked it up. Either way, I doubt they'll get far.

pdxhak
01-11-2010, 12:04 PM
Cowgirls  The Eagles just got the butts handed to them 3 times this year. No game was a fluke. Each time the beating was worse.

Vlaze
01-11-2010, 12:14 PM
Yet the Cowgirls got their butts handed twice to them by the Giants and still they fell apart half way through and didn't make it. The Giants got it handed to them by Phil, quite a change of events.

pdxhak

Sour grapes?

And no the Cowboys did not get the whooped by the Giants. NY was very lucky to get the win in Dallas with fluky INTs and TDs. Dallas was competitive in both games and could have won. But they did not say what ever. The Eagles on the other hand not so much.

Coming from someone getting tight ass about a Cowgirl comment? I'll just be conservative and be nice about this to simply say, chill.

Beat, butt handed, however you want to put it, lucky as you say. Perhaps it should be considered luck with the 1st game against the Eagles as they hardly won. Either way, I said it as it is, Giants beat, beat down, ass hand, luck, whatever, WIN over Cowgirls. I guess I could just take what you said earlier about McNabb and say, the Cowgirls just can't get it done against the Giants. Philly hands Giants their head on a stick while the Cowgirls barely win then continual beat down Philly, weird season indeed. It mirrors a rock, paper, scissors game.

Got 5? Cowboys do.

The Eagles choked as usual, nothing more nothing less. It doesn't matter how you start the season it only matters how you finish. When the Cowboys get beat, they get beat. But...... what is the overall record of the Cowboys versus the Eagles?

this is exactly what im talking about, 13 years without a single playoff win, you get one and all of a sudden its the 5 time super bowl champion america's team Dallas Cowboys...where the hell were ya since the mid 90s. shit.

9krpmrx8
01-11-2010, 01:27 PM
13 years without a playoff win? Okay, I guess....... Would you like to compare total playoff appearances, wins, etc., etc.? Doesn't matter how long since the last Super Bowl or the last playoff win was because we have been there a gazillion times more than most other teams.

The Cowboys will be back soon enough with a Super Bowl win, don't you worry. The league changed and it has taken a while for us to adjust but we are getting our groove back.

Quick search but........

i gotta watch football since i love football, and the ravens are a team i've kinda been watching all year since the games were on. john harbaugh used to be with the eagles leading our special teams to excellence for many years, and joe flacco is a delaware alum and i've seen a number of his college games...totally a local appreciation thing. For that same reason i'll enjoy watching the vikings since i've always thought childress was an excellent coach.

im an eagles fan through and through, but its more fun to watch a playoff game if there is someone i prefer to win. btw i never said history doesn't matter so i can bring up whatever recent reality i want to. You were prolly in diapers the last time the cowboys did anything meaningful. ;)

The Vikes had a good run at the beginning of the season but as of late things have begun to fall apart just like what happened last year in NY. I think were the Vikes went wrong, is they went away from Peterson. And against Dallas, he won't be able to run wild. Not to mention Favre is terrible against Dallas. I finally had to agree with ESPN when they said that Dallas is a scary team right now, kinda like the Giants were when they won the SB. After the loss to San Diego, something clicked within that team that has them fired up.

And since people wanna bring up history...... HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS

oh yeah and GO CARDS!!!!!!!! you know Brees doesn't want to see that Dallas front 7 again.
