I work across the road from a Lotus dealership and I have a friend that is a salesman there. Maybe when they come in he will let me go into their warehouse, dry hump one, and then beat off to it. That thing is hot.

i love lotus. but it looks too much like a gallardo. i wish they would stop making the espirit look so much like lambos and make it more original.

I remember well the beautiful, elegant designs of Colin Chapman's Lotus cars....this looks like a Japanese and Italian hybrid. Nice but not a Lotus.

rear view looks more apealing but still very Lamborghinish...

Why does Lotus insist on making it completely impossible to see out the back of their cars. Don't get me wrong, I'd take this or an Exige in a second, but if you want to do a trademark rear window treatment, how about something that's not quite so likely to result in my death in normal street driving.

^^^You can't drive without a rear-view mirror? I drove for weeks without a rear-view mirror in my Altima commuting 40+ miles a day in Orange County where the drivers are horrendous.. I just relied on the side view mirrors and looking over the shoulder.

As long as the car decent sightlines over the sides a decent rear-view isn't totally necessary. True, most supercars have poor sightlines and ginormous blind-spots.

Exactly. While they're at it, they should figure out a way to put rear windows in trucks, busses, panel vans etc so they all don't die!! :bootyshak :p:
