DaveCM203 09-15-2006, 04:56 PM I work across the road from a Lotus dealership and I have a friend that is a salesman there. Maybe when they come in he will let me go into their warehouse, dry hump one, and then beat off to it. That thing is hot. BlueSky 09-15-2006, 05:07 PM i love lotus. but it looks too much like a gallardo. i wish they would stop making the espirit look so much like lambos and make it more original. Ajax 09-15-2006, 05:15 PM Just for those who dont want to click... http://www.caranddriver.com/assets/image/2006/Q3/083120061422069802.jpg Raptor2k 09-15-2006, 06:32 PM Eh... mike1324a 09-15-2006, 07:39 PM Hawt moRotorMotor 09-15-2006, 08:03 PM Looks like an RX-8. BlueSky 09-16-2006, 01:03 AM It might just be an artists rendering of what it could look like... yiksing 09-16-2006, 08:54 AM Ok that looks a bit like the raging bull therm8 09-16-2006, 11:54 AM looks like a large fish is eating a 300Z to me, in a good way :) Ole Spiff 09-16-2006, 12:06 PM I remember well the beautiful, elegant designs of Colin Chapman's Lotus cars....this looks like a Japanese and Italian hybrid. Nice but not a Lotus. JRichter 09-16-2006, 02:18 PM rear view: http://www.automobilemag.com/future_cars/2008/0609_x+2009_lotus_esprit+rear.jpg rear view looks more apealing but still very Lamborghinish... djbentle 09-18-2006, 05:31 PM Why does Lotus insist on making it completely impossible to see out the back of their cars. Don't get me wrong, I'd take this or an Exige in a second, but if you want to do a trademark rear window treatment, how about something that's not quite so likely to result in my death in normal street driving. BlueSky 09-18-2006, 06:14 PM ^^^You can't drive without a rear-view mirror? I drove for weeks without a rear-view mirror in my Altima commuting 40+ miles a day in Orange County where the drivers are horrendous.. I just relied on the side view mirrors and looking over the shoulder. As long as the car decent sightlines over the sides a decent rear-view isn't totally necessary. True, most supercars have poor sightlines and ginormous blind-spots. BlueEyes 09-18-2006, 06:51 PM Why does Lotus insist on making it completely impossible to see out the back of their cars. Don't get me wrong, I'd take this or an Exige in a second, but if you want to do a trademark rear window treatment, how about something that's not quite so likely to result in my death in normal street driving. Exactly. While they're at it, they should figure out a way to put rear windows in trucks, busses, panel vans etc so they all don't die!! :bootyshak :p: BlueEyes 09-18-2006, 06:53 PM Oh and that rear view is a blatant photoshop of a Lamborghini Concept S press photo... http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/images/lamborghini-concept-s-1.JPG captain mercury 09-18-2006, 07:23 PM Oh and that rear view is a blatant photoshop of a Lamborghini Concept S press photo... http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/images/lamborghini-concept-s-1.JPG haha. aint that a riot JRichter 09-19-2006, 04:41 PM Oh and that rear view is a blatant photoshop of a Lamborghini Concept S press photo... http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/images/lamborghini-concept-s-1.JPG good eye!
