installs- san antonio/austin

I just moved to san antonio a few weeks ago. going to UTSA and dont really know too much around here. I'm going to try to get the RP super-cat and wondering if anyone knows a good place to have that installed? or anyone have experience that could help? austin isnt too far of a drive so that should work too... been looking at alamo rotary but no idea besides that... thanks

visit www.alamomotoring.com attend a couple meets and just ask for someones help. that worked for me.

if i lived in SA id tell you to bring me some JD and id help you out.

thats a super easy install BTW. just have to jack the car up on stands and probably just need a socket (17 or 14) and the same in a wrench and maybe some pliers.

ya the 8's are all silver base auto's with not even the 18 inch wheels....lol....lots of fat chicks drive em ....black 8 huh? You wouldn't happen to have an aftermarket exhaust? Saw a black 8 with I believe the greddy exhaust on Tuesday in the very most back parking alotted to the campus.... I drive a WB 8 MT ....look for the gunmetal rims or just listen to the overly loud and droning midpipe

I actually saw you, you drove past me... when you said you had the midpipe I figured that was you cause most have stock exhaust. I have the racing beat exhaust though. But that was probably mine you saw because I didnt see any other 8s in that lot besides yours. Not from San Antonio. I lived about an hour north of houston before I moved here for school.

Cool....if you see me on campus just give a wave ((if you remember what I look like))....or flag me down if im in the 8 ....maybe we can even meet up sometime in the morning...really want to hear the racing beat exhaust with a stock cat....apparantly it sounds almost stock till you rev it.... oh yeah excuse the cracked windshield ...cracked last week when some ahole through a battery into it...and my visor just broke too .....no luck these past two weeks with the 8....hopefully when I go in for the recall next weekend I don't get told I need a new engine

yeah, that wouldnt be good, but at the same time you dont wanna be driving around with a bad engine. I'm gonna try to bring mine in before I get the supercat or install it since they're supposed to look at the cat during the recall. Hopefully if they keep it I'll at least get to mess around with a CX-7 for a day or 2. I'll let you know when I get the cat in though. What's your schedule like?

Alright, well I finish up about the same times as you. I'll figure something out where we can meet and/or install the supercat once I get recall taken care of and get the supercat in

Nah, woodlands is by houston... so 3.5-4 hour drive... would be terrible to put that kinda miles on the car and I dont feel like waking up that early to get to class Guess I need to update my location. I'm actually at montecito appartments. Just @ W. Hasuman and 1604

you sure it's the same thing we're thinking of? It seems pretty nice to me... and I havnt seen any big problems so far. Well, I've got an amazing dodge neon for a few days waiting for recall stuff to be done... really need a turbo on this neon or something... feels a bit slow the ups tracking says my supercat is out for delivery right now but seems a bit late... should be tomorrow I guess. Cant wait, even though I dont have my 8 maybe I should test it on the neon...

it's on fredricksburg road, took about 20 minutes to get to? took 1604 to I-10 east for and stayed on I-10 for a few minutes and was there. It's a mazda/kia mix dealership I think. I just did the dealership locater thing on the mazda usa site.

Well, I almost got my car back today... they called at 3:15 or so and told me they were done with the work, but were gonna wash it and fill up the tank, and told me that would take 2 hours so no call so far, and wont be able to make it out there before they close. finally sorted out the UPS stuff I think, I gotta hope when they're loading the trucks tomorrow that they fix the address.
