Welcome to the forum :) If no one can help, You could try phoning round a few dealers to ask, as the cars seem to be doing the rounds at the moment.

Nice to see someone from the southampton area at last. The only test drive I've heard about was at T W White dealerships in the Surrey area. Look at http://www.rx8forum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9349. Have not heard of any others. I think our dealerships are too small, as these dealers had to pay for the cars.

My dealer in Crayford, South London/ Kent advises they will not be organising test drives. Only the major dealer groups who have sold many number (ie 150) are getting pre-production cars.

Not true - the dealership in Cardiff that is giving me a testdrive next week is a single dealer and they have less than 30 pre-orders.

EDIT - I suspect your dealer is selling you that line because they are not willing to stump up the cash to transport one.

Apparently Southampton Mazda have sold 26 RX8s so it should be worth them getting a car down :-)

Is your order at Bitterne or Chandlers Ford simrjor?
