So what I am reading about the coming recall is that low reving and a lot stop and go traffic can cause problems.

My question is this, every week when I wash the car I let it idle after I pull it out of the garage for at least 10 minutes or so while I get everything ready. I wanted to make sure I had no chance of flooding it. I also let it idle for a few minutes once I pull it back in (garage door open lol) Also this car is my wifes and it is an AT. She drives "spirited" but I doubt she is even revving much over 4.5k on a regular basis. Am I doomed?

Not really. you can add marvel mystery oil everytime you take it for a fill up. many rx7 owners uses it. i wouild try to avoid starting it and letting it idle and shutting it off because that will lead to flooding if done too often.

Try taking it for a short drive around the block instead of idling. One of the recommendations I've read for Rx-7 owners is that once you start the car you start driving it within a minute to avoid excessive wear on the engine.

your fine, I use redline fuel treatment and love it. Just make sure you change your plugs every 25K and you should be fine.

carbon buildup is best removed with some high rpm driving, fuel treatment only cleans out the fuel injectors.
