I noticed the glove box sags just a little on the left side—just like the glove boxes on my Miatas did. (Push up a little under the left side and the sag is easy to see.)

Yeah it sags a little on the left.

Its not just you. Mine was bugging me since I got the car. It was just like that miata glovebox. So I bended the lock a little inward, problem gone:

Damn must be Mazda's trademark or sumin. My second gen rx7 had the same problem.
