Anyone install a g-force meter?
Anyone install a g-force meter?
Hey, couldn't find this upon a search, so I thought I'd just ask if anyone has installed a g-meter in their car? I rode in a corvette the other day and just thought it was the neatest thing, and want to get one for my 8. The only problem I have found is that all the g-meters I could find are in those little performence computers. Really I don't need 95% of the functions those things have and would prefer not to pay for all of them. Anyone know of any simple g-meter gauge or the like?
That reminds me I have one I've never used around here. I helped my neighbor buy tires online and and the was supposed to get a free G-Tech. They screwed up and sent two of them so I got to keep one. I guess I need to put it in and try it out. When I got it I didn't have a car worth putting it in. I think I just need to input the weight of the car into it.

I think what you're looking for is a Passport G-Timer by Escort.
They have 2 version, and it's even cheaper than building one.

There is also the G-Tech Pro SS or G-Tech Pro RR.
I bought the RR version becuase I works for autocross, and the data is downloadable.

As cheesy as the site and commercial is, I believe they are really selling these items
