okive gota question for you guys. im going to buy another car soon and im looking at the rx8, the only problum is that its atthe very upper end of what i can spend witch means no modding. the other cars im looking at (and i know they are very diffrent) a new Focus zx3, and a 95 turbo talon. if i get the zx3 quoted $7000 by my local dealer for the way i want it then i can add a turbo wheels and redo the trans and suspension and only spend around 12,000 and have a new quick car. if i get the talon for $6500 it looks better and its already modded and so forunder $10,000 i could have a car that can run 11.xx at the strip. what do you guys think the best choice would be

Do NOT get the 8. Judging by your post this is not the car for you. Get the Talon.

yeah, if you're going to drag race, don't get an rx8. what about an older mustang 5.0 HO? you can get one for around the same as the talon, but older and probably more mileage. or there's a guy at work that was selling his really clean svt focus with 3000 miles for 13,700. but that's not a drag car either, and i'm in michigan.

the only reason i ever drag race my cars i to have proof of how fast they aer (time slip) most of the time i just drive them slow. even if they are fast, i just like to know the power is there.

Get the Talon dood. Tons of aftermarket parts and with plenty of turbocharged power. The 8 is NOT for you.
