Thanks to this forum

My lease ended July 31st and I turned in my 04' 6 speed GT . Hated to let it go, but the buyout didn't make sense. Almost went with an 06' Shinka, but leased a new Charger (yeh, it's got a Hemi!). I really loved the RX-8 and will miss it a lot.

I just wanted to thank this site and the members for helping to make my ownership experience a positive one. We are all lucky to have such a great resource.

One last item: If anyone is looking for a good dealer in Massachusetts I'd recommend Sentry Mazda. They are rotary savy and did a great job servicing my car.

Thanks again!

So you just have no problem throwing money away on leased vehicles?

Maybe he just like the mythical thing thats no RX8 owners have ever experienced called "torque". Congrats on the new car, I suspect the charger interior quality should be at least up to par with the mazda.

Enjoy the slushbox and huge amount of space. The trunks on those things can fit a piano! Bets looking full-sized sedan on the market for the price IMO.

Maybe the charger will be easier to swap for the concept charger that is supposed to hit in 08. Enjoy the crappy MPG. oh, right, it's actually an upgrade . . .

Thanks for the replies.

It's an R/T with the Road & Track package (same 350HP and suspension as a Daytona but without the stripes). I miss the incredible handling of the RX-8, but torque is nice too!

Gets about 1 MPG better mileage than the RX-8 (these aren't economy cars!)

I do just fine leasing. I did great with the RX-8 and the Charger. Just need to do your homework and know how they are calculated so you don't get screwed. I enjoy getting a new car every two or three years. Definitely not for everyone.

For those of you that haven't yet - get the starter/battery/plugs update. Made a huge improvement in starting and makes it almost impossible to flood (I did once before the update).

Where is Sentry Mazda? I live on the South Shore. Looking to switch Service Dept's. Congrats on the change to a Charger man, they are starting to rub off on me just wish they kept the Magnum name on 'em. Now the Challenger OMFG... can't wait for that will definatly be a test of my will power, power vs. handling the all mighty struggle.

Sentry is on Route 9 in Shrewsbury. They did great work on my car (flood repair, recalls, batter/starter update, etc.). Fixed right the first time and no hassles.
