Why isnt there any recall posted???

use any search engine and you will find probably whaI have, there are some recalls on the ball joint, airbag, engine for melting sensors, and one more, but no evidence of what everyone is worried about. most cars have 2 or 3 recalls, some alot more,

Previous recalls ARE listed on this site. Keep looking! You might have to search a few threads.

Thumbs up The Dish On Recall From My Dealer.

First off, nothing will be truly known as of yet. The dealers dont know. What he COULD tell me was that from what they have seen it effects ONLY AUTOMATICS, so if you own a manual you SHOULD BE good to go. Another thing unless you fit into their category once they truly know what the problem is, all owners will be notified by letter, so if you do not receive one, you are fine. No news is good news. However he could not tell me when for sure that they would have a positive ID on the problem. Keep this in mind too, it effects 04-06, so unless you absolutely drive the heck out of your car, you are under warranty, so dont sweat it. This is a Voluntary recall. Not mandatory. It pertains to an oil leak causing problems if Im not mistaken, so keep a close eye and I would keep a record of your oil consumption, and if you are using more than normal take it in. Thats just common sense.

Folks, I am a one vehicle owner, so my baby is my bread and butter. I'm female, and I am staying calm, and my suggestion to all out there, just hang in there....
