I bought my 8 about a week ago. its an 04 with 25k miles on it. i have been reading about all the recalls and tsb. does the factory warranty stay with the car or was i supposed to get the warranty transferred somehow? the dealership i bought it from included a 2 year 24k mile warranty. thanks for any input

 

warranty stays with the car unless you bought it behind a conveniance store for a pack of smokes.......................

 

Sounds like you got the remainder of the warrenty from the dealership. Was it bought at a "Mazda" dealership.

Oh just remembered this. I got a piece of mail a few weeks after I bought my 8, it said to register my car at Mazdausa.com atleast they'll officaly know you own the car. That and it will note if you need any service or recalls done also.

 

take your car to a Mazda dealership, let them plug in their magical plugs, and they'll know everything that has been done officially to the car..........they keep a database of everything........

then, not only will they know, but you'll know what has been done with your car in respect to regular maintanance etc..............

 

the mazdausa website is nothing more than a glorified well, website............means absolutely nothing............take your car in to someone that knows, ask and demand details of the latest flashes, tsbs, etc.......

........you'll be fine...........
