Hey guys i doubt anyone cares but i find this topic ammusing. My g/f hates the fact i traded my dodge quad cab in for an rx8 she loves imports and the scene but she loved my truck too. anyways she now claims to hate 8's because i guess she figures i will love my car more than her lol. so i am moving and when i do i am getting a cat i already met him as i am taking him for a friend since she is pregnant (not mine). anyways he is half saimese (spelling) and he is crazy high strung cat he is so funny to watch as he seems to be pinging all the time. ihe is still a kitten and i figured i would give him a better name than skoal (her b/fs idea he is from the country) anyways my g/f said we should name him benzi... and that got me thinking about cars and of course my 8. i thought about how this engine is so full of life and has the great rev limit and how they get their power at the higher rpms. so i decided to name the cat rotor. lol well now my g/f is even more pissed cuz she luvs the cat but now hates that i named it after something to do with my car. i can see me getting in more and more trouble as she will only see what i do to my car not everything i do for her lol. anyways i figured i would share the story and i thought the name i gave my cat was imaginitive and fit perfect.

Sounds immature. Acting jealous over a car and a cat.

Cute name by the way!!

She doesnt like the extra attention the RX8 is going to give you, and trust me, drive it around enough, and both you and kitty can find new girls.....

I'd suggest not telling your G/f that you have (assuming you have that is) named your Rx-8 also. She might get really pissed then... oh btw what does she drive might help explain the jealousy. Yanno you had the rugged "truck" and she had the sporty "compact".

sounds like you have more problems than just naming the cat :smoker:

We have two cats. One's named Cylde and he's a big, dumb, yet sweet, oaf of a cat. Our other cat is named Loki, as in the Norse god of mischief. He like Clyde, lives up to his name as he is pretty devious and evil; despite that he's still a good cat (Evil, though. Very evil.).

So seeing as how our cats take to their names as well as they have, I've already got a name picked out if we get another cat:

Powerball
